President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo almost declared martial law during the last quarter of 2005. This is according to Ex-Speaker Jose DeVenecia and former Ambassador to the United States Albert del Rosario. They said the President came close to declaring military rule during the time of the “Hello Garci” controversy in 2006 and again during the Manila Peninsula seige of 2007.

Am I in it for the Long Haul?
That is the one question I have ringing in my head at this very moment as I debate upon myself on which path to take. Should something that seems so promising be worth it? or am I simply choosing to ignore the obvious by being blinded with promises of riches and glory, the spoils of war in a victorious but otherwise steep and uphill battle for success?
